The Abrahamic Movement Participates in Landmark Interfaith Delegation to the UAE

The Abrahamic Movement took part in a unique delegation of more than 30 religious leaders representing over 20 organizations engaged in interfaith diplomacy. The delegation visited the United Arab Emirates and participated in the International Conference on Dialogue of Civilizations and Tolerance in Abu Dhabi.

The delegation sought to highlight the role of religion, identity, and shared heritage as powerful tools for building regional peace. During the visit, a joint Jewish-Muslim declaration was presented, and delegation members met with senior Emirati officials, religious leaders, and the founder of Dubai’s Holocaust Museum.

A central message conveyed by the Emirati leadership was that the Abraham Accords are not merely a political agreement, but a long-term social and cultural project aimed at connecting people and communities. This vision was strongly emphasized by Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, a senior Emirati leader who met with the delegation. Dr. Al Nuaimi also warned against forces in the region that promote “narratives of division, hatred, and distrust.”

Dr. Faris Habal, President of the Emirates Scholar Center, likewise stressed that “the key to transforming the Middle East is education,” and that partnership with Israel is intended to build bridges of reconciliation, tolerance, and mutual understanding for future generations.
